We are accepting vendor applications from June 1st,  2017, until August 31st, 2017. All vendors will be notified by September 9th, 2017 if they have been accepted as a vendor for the Dillsburg Community Fair Association's 2017 Open Air Market, or told if they do not quite fit into the mix of vendors we are trying to create this year. By October 1st, 2017 all accepted vendors will receive an email containing a vendor map so they will know exactly where to set up Saturday October 21st. All vendors agree to show up the day of the Open Air Market selling only the categories of items they applied to sell. The Open Air Market director has the right to ask a vendor to stop selling any items they did not apply to sell. All items must either be pre-packed food items or artisan items made from a raw agricultural or natural product, i.e. clay, wood, straw, corn, flowers, plants, etc. Vendors may arrive no earlier than 6am to set up, and must be ready to sell by 8am. The market will run from 8am to 2pm, and vendors must be fully torn down by 3:30pm. All vendors agree to remain set-up to sell for the full length of the market, 8am to 2pm. All vendors agree to set-up their stand and then move their vehicles out of the market parking lot to another location to remain for the day. If your vehicle is critical to your market set-up and you wish to have it with you during the market you must pay for an additional 10x10 space, if accepted. We are trying to max out the market space with as many unique vendors as possible and would appreciate having as few vehicles as possible in the market area. The vendor fee for each 10x10 space is $45. A $20 discount will be given to any artisans who are actively demonstrating their craft during the market hours. Vendors will be asked to pay their vendor fees once they are notified that they have been accepted to the event. This is a family friendly event, all vendors agree to be civil and polite to customers and other vendors, the market director has the right to ask any vendor to pack up and leave if they feel they are not being civil and family friendly at any time with no vendor fee refunded. All vendors agree, to take all their trash/items with them at the end of the day. All vendors setting up with any kind of canopy must have at least 20lbs of weight on each corner of each of their canopies. Canopies can be very dangerous in high winds and we never know what kind of weather we will have through out the day. All vendors must submit proof of liability insurance to the Open Air Market director and must list the Dillsburg Community Fair Association as an additional insured party on their insurance. This is a requirement for the Dillsburg Community Fair Association's liability insurance and no exceptions can be made. We wish everyone the very best as we try to create a truly unique and fun shopping experience for the attendees of the 2017 Dillsburg Farmers Fair!
